Kron Technologies, a global leader in cybersecurity software, has announced a significant leadership transition. After a successful 16-year tenure, Mete Sansal has stepped down from his role as CEO. The Board of Directors expressed their gratitude to Sansal, stating: “Mete’s valuable contributions in shaping the company into what it is today will always be remembered with appreciation.”
Following this development, Ayşe Yenel and Zeynep Yenel Onursal have been appointed as Co-CEOs, ushering in a new chapter for Kron Technologies’ leadership.

Ayşe Yenel graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Industrial Engineering and began her career in 1999 at JP Morgan Chase Bank, focusing on strategic planning and credit analytics. In 2004, she joined HSBC Turkey, where she held various senior roles in credit and risk management, business strategy, and retail banking.
In 2017, Yenel was promoted to Deputy General Manager of Retail Banking and Wealth Management at HSBC Turkey, while also serving as Vice Chair of the Board at HSBC Asset Management Inc. In 2023, she joined Kron Teknoloji as Vice Chair of the Board and Chair of the Executive Committee. Yenel has played a critical role in advancing the company’s strategic growth and innovation objectives.
Zeynep Yenel Onursal graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Finance. She began her career in 2007 at Goldman Sachs in investment banking. Onursal worked in New York and London as Vice President in areas such as Leveraged Finance, Mergers&Acquisitions and Private Equity Coverage.
In 2016, Onursal was appointed as Goldman Sachs’ Country Head for Turkey and Managing Director. She stepped down from this role in 2023 to join Kron Teknoloji as Vice Chair of the Executive Committee and Board Member. Additionally, Onursal serves as a Board Member of Ak Investment, a Board Member of the American Turkish Society (ATS), and is a member of TÜSİAD.
